I want to get my main negative out of the way right at the start. When using the app, they require you use a credit card and pay to use the cloud storage AND the bird identifier feature. Yes, yet another monthly fee. I am so tired of companies trying to fleece more money out of us. So keep in mind unless you want to pay more money, you just get the pictures and video features of this feeder.I love the build quality here. We get actual wood instead of plastic like most of the other feeder camera setups I have seen for sale. Wherever you place this feeder you do need to make sure it is within wifi range of your home network.The camera quality is about on par with budget security cameras. Good enough for viewing on your phone but not good enough to actually make prints from. The night vision was actually fairly good as well. You should be aware that there are no included instructions on how to operate the app itself. This can be a bit tricky.Considering the good build quality I do think this is a good value if birdwatching is something you are into. My wife certainly is and she has been loving seeing all the close up video of the birds that visit the feeder.
