This camera may not be an OEM part, but it is the exact replacement for our 2013 Soul. Easy to install. Perfect fit. Excellent price. The image quality is as good or even better than the original. Our local Kia dealer wanted $480 for the OEM camera, more than twice what this one cost. Also, they said it would take a DAY to install a new camera, whereas I spent less that two hours removing the hatch cover panel and camera, installing the new camera, and reattaching the cover. And I am by no means a mechanic. There is no extra wiring to do to replace this camera; merely unplug the old, and plug in the new. The plug is an exact fit.I recommend investing in new plastic panel clips and replacing the old ones as well. The original ones tend to be very brittle and break easily when removing the cover panel. The dealer charges $1.80 each for the little plastic clips, and our Soul requires 12 of them, for a total of about $22. Instead, I bought a bag of 100 of them online, with a clip removal tool included, for only $12.The bottom line: Purchasing this camera and installing it myself (which was a very easy job) saved me over $300 in parts alone, not to mention labor costs $$$ at the Kia dealership.I heartily recommend this camera. Great value for a great product.
